Quilting
I teach quilting and am known for my “reversible” or “quilt-as-you-go” classes. Many quilters enjoy piecing blocks and quilt tops but aren’t sure how to finish their quilts. It can be expensive to send out every quilt for professional long-arm quilting, and many quilters are daunted by trying to quilt a whole quilt on their home machines.
I teach students how to quilt one block, row, or section at a time and then join the sections with sashing strips. This is a technique that can be applied to many patterns, and in each class we look at a variety of quilts and patterns. Students leave class with a new skill that they can apply to their other quilting projects.
Seminole Patchwork Class
This live virtual class is open to the public. This is a technique class to learn the concepts of Seminole strip piecing. During the session, students will create 4 to 5 distinct Seminole patterns. Each student will receive instructions, via email, for 10 unique Seminole designs, along with several variations.

2019 Quilting and Sewing Recap
Everything that I quilted and sewed in 2019. The year started off busy as I got ready for a trip to California to teach at a quilt guild and a couple quilt shops. I had to create multiple class samples and write patterns. I designed a new quilt-as-you-go pattern called Hugs or Kisses.
