For guilds, shops and groups
I offer a number of Quilt-As-You-Go workshops for guilds, quilt shops, and small groups.
Workshops
- 6 hours of instruction for up to 20 students: $700
- 4 hours of instruction for up to 20 students: $500
- up to 8 additional students: $15/student
Live Virtual Workshops
I teach the virutal workshops via my Zoom account. Every student recieves a downloadable PDF pattern with step-by-step instructions and illustrations.
During the workshop, I show short videos for each process in constructing the quilt. After watching the video, students work on their quilt in the comfort of their own sewing space. I am available to interact with the students answering questions and repeating the process as needed.
For the 6-hour workshops, I recommend breaking the workshop into two 3-hour sessions a week or two apart. In the first session, students will piece, sandwich and quilt at least one block. In the second session, students will learn to join the blocks with sashing. By breaking the workshop into two sessions, students have adequate time to make and quilt more blocks before joining them into rows in the second session.
If your guild prefers to have the workshop on one day, I can adapt the class. Students will piece, sandwich and quilt at least one block in the morning, and in the afternoon I will teach the quilt-as-you-go sashing technique on a small sample. The concepts can be applied to the student’s quilt after more blocks have been made.
I also offer a one-day 4-hour workshop that teaches all of the quilt-as-you-go concepts on a small 4-block quilt.
For workshops with more than 12 students, it is helpful if the guild provides a moderator to check-in students, help with Zoom technical issues, and monitor the class for questions to be passed on to me. The moderator does not count toward the maximum enrollment.

In-Person Workshops/Classes
I offer all my Quilt-As-You-Go (QAYG) classes for in-person workshops. The 6-hours classes can be 1-day or 2-days. For the 1-day classes, I will provide a small kit for students to learn the QAYG technique.

Free Block-of-the-Month Program
I offer a free Block-of-the-Month pattern set to guilds. It includes patterns for twelve 12" finished blocks. The patterns are fully illustrated with step-by-step instructions for completing each block.
I will also provide a discount code for your guild members if they would like to take the online companion class to make their blocks into a quilt using the Quilt-As-You-Go technique.
